ABOUT ME
My Story
My name is Divine North, and I believe that my story can help to heal others. My journey began over four decades ago on New Year's Eve when I lost my mother. After that, I struggled to find my place — in my family, my friendships, and, most of all, in the relationships with my partners.
Writing Throwing Pearls...was an act of both remembering and healing. In its pages, I revisit my past not to relive it, but to understand its profound impact on shaping me into the woman that I am today. Each chapter paved its unique pathway to self-appreciation, forgiveness, and awareness. I was ultimately led to this walk with God, which has given me peace beyond description or understanding.
While my story explores a painfully difficult past, my free time is dedicated to the present. I find peace and healing in life's simple pleasures, like cooking for my family, attending live music events, or checking out new restaurants. These are sources of joy that I tap into to remind me that I am present and that I am worthy of the life I have been given to live.
